Perfetti Sets One Up as Winnipeg Beats Vancouver
The Jets forward finished plus one in a 6-2 home win over the Canucks, with two shots on net and a takeaway.
Cole Perfetti had a quiet but useful night in Winnipeg's 6-2 win over Vancouver. He finished with one assist, no goals, two shots on goal and a plus 1 rating in 15:26 of ice time over 17 shifts.
That ice time ranked 10th among 18 Jets skaters and sixth among the team's 12 forwards. It was also below his season average of 18.5 minutes a game.
The assist came at even strength, where he put two shots on goal from four attempts. On the power play he had no shots on goal, though he did have two attempts. He also had one takeaway and one giveaway, with no hits, blocks or penalties.
For the season, Perfetti has six goals and six assists in 17 games. One assist on a night the Jets scored six fits that pattern: he helped, without driving the result himself.
The win leaves Winnipeg at 5-8-3, still in the playoff race. Vancouver is 3-13-1.
