Bruins Keep Ringing Iron, Still Chasing Chicago in Their Own Barn
Geekie, Kastelic and Khusnutdinov all hit metal, but Boston has only Pastrnak's tying goal to show for it.

Boston has been a few inches from a different game. Three Bruins shots have hit the iron and none went in: Morgan Geekie off a crossbar late in the first, then Mark Kastelic off a post and Marat Khusnutdinov off a crossbar in the second. Chicago has hit none.
Chicago leads 2-1 with 11:05 left in the 2nd (8:55 played). The Blackhawks have the edge in shot attempts, 34-22, and shots on goal, 19-7, so the bounces are only part of it. But Boston has been unlucky.
