MARAT KHUSNUTDINOV

Connor, Morrissey and Khusnutdinov all hit iron on huge looks that left the score closer than the chances suggested

The game felt like one team’s chances but turned on inches.

Josh Morrissey, Marat Khusnutdinov and Kyle Connor each struck iron on high-value tries; the three posts/crossbar came on Morrissey’s crossbar, Khusnutdinov’s post and Connor’s post. Those near-goals help explain why the one-goal final score masked how many big looks went begging.
