Jarry Turns Away Every Calgary Look in Edmonton
Flames keep getting good chances and keep coming up empty, with Wolf and Cooley both beaten at the other end.

Calgary has been getting real looks in Edmonton, and Tristan Jarry has stopped every one of them. With 9:12 left in the third, the Oilers lead 4-0, and the Flames still have nothing on the board.
Jarry has 21 saves on 21 shots, including 8 of 8 on high-danger chances (the best scoring looks, usually close in). The chances he faced were worth about 1.75 goals by expected goals, which measures how many goals those shots should have produced. He has kept all of that off the scoreboard.
The game has been even in shot attempts, 50-50, and Calgary has put 21 shots on net against Edmonton's 26. This is not a one-sided shelling. The Flames have simply run into a goalie who has not blinked.
At the other end, Dustin Wolf stopped 14 of 17 and Devin Cooley stopped 8 of 9. Mathieu Joseph, Mattias Ekholm, Kasperi Kapanen and Alex Formenton all scored, and Edmonton also hit the post twice. Jarry has made sure that stays a four-goal margin.
