Avalanche Early Wave Forces Blues to Chase
Makar’s goal finishes a stretch of pressure that has Colorado piling up the better looks while St. Louis scrambles for answers
Colorado seized the first 12:35 and turned it into the opening goal by Cale Makar. The Avs out-attempted the Blues 20-10, outshot them 11-3, created 7-1 high-danger chances and held an expected-goals edge of 1.21-0.18. If St. Louis wants to blunt this, they must stop those high-danger chances and clear pucks to reset.
