Barron's Four-Point Night Brightens Blues' Win Over Vegas
The St. Louis defenceman finds the twine and sets up three more as the Blues beat the Golden Knights 6-2 at home.
Justin Barron had a night to remember on the St. Louis Blues blue line: a goal and three assists for four points, all at even strength, in a 6-2 win over Vegas. He finished plus 4.
He played 20:23 over 23 shifts, third among the team's skaters and third among the Blues' six defencemen. He put four shots on net, with five attempts in all. His goal came at even strength at 13:49 of the first period. He had no hits, no blocked shots and no penalty minutes.
The night stands apart from his season. Coming in, he had one goal and four assists through seven games and averaged 16.5 minutes, so this was more ice time and far more production than usual. He added a goal, three assists and a plus 4 on a single night.
