Dostal Keeps Ducks in Reach on Long Island
Anaheim's goalie faces a flood of the best looks in the building while the Islanders keep their grip on the barn.
Written during the game · 9:22 PM ET. Final was ANA 2, NYI 3.

Lukas Dostal is the reason the Ducks still have a pulse. Anaheim trails 1-3 with 7:23 left in the third, and the Islanders have had the better of the play all night, with 70 shot attempts to 41.
Dostal has stopped 21 of 24 shots, including 10 of 13 from the most dangerous spots. Three goals went in, but the chances against him were worth about four and a half goals, so he has stopped more than expected. Ilya Sorokin has been sharp too, with 14 saves on 15 shots.
