DiPietro Holds the Fort as Bruins Outlast Ducks

Michael DiPietro stopped 24 of 26 shots and the Bruins beat the Ducks 4-2 at Honda Center, with 60:00 of game time played and 0:00 left in the 3rd.

Anaheim had far more of the play, with shot attempts 69-45. But DiPietro stopped 9 of 10 high-danger shots. In plain terms, he saved about 1.42 goals more than an average goalie would have on those chances, which is why Boston stayed ahead.
