Keller Sets the Table in Utah's One-Goal Win in Toronto
The Mammoth forward piles up helpers, mostly with the man advantage, as Utah edges the Maple Leafs 3-2 on the road.
Clayton Keller didn't score in Toronto, but he had a hand in a lot of the offence. He finished with three assists and a plus 1 as Utah beat the Maple Leafs 3-2.
He played 18:47 over 22 shifts, fourth among Utah's skaters and first among the team's forwards. Two of his three assists came on the power play, where he also had three of his five shots on goal. At even strength he had one assist and two shots.
The night was not spotless. He gave the puck away twice and had no hits or blocks. That fits his season, which includes 17 giveaways in 16 games.
Three points in one game is a step up from his pace this season, 21 points in 16 games (four goals, 17 assists). Utah moves to 10-6-0, second in the Central Division, and Keller's power-play work was a big part of it.
