Sanderson Sets Up Two Without Firing a Puck in San Jose
The Senators defenceman never tested Sharks goaltending, yet he left the ice a plus four in a lopsided road win.
By MA Insights
Jake Sanderson never put a shot on net in San Jose, yet he finished with two assists as the Senators won 5-1. He led all Ottawa skaters with 22:50 of ice time and was a plus 4.
One assist came at even strength and one on an empty-net goal. He also blocked two shots. It was a night of setting up teammates, not shooting.
The data does not say who he played alongside, so there is no Artem Zub pairing to report.
