The Kings have been close all night and have nothing to show for it. They hit the post twice, Brandt Clarke in the 1st and Quinton Byfield just 0:09 into the 2nd, and they have 5 high-danger chances to Buffalo's 1. The Sabres still lead 1-0, so the Kings trail 0-1, with 2:08 played in the 2nd, 17:52 left in the 2nd.
Shot attempts are 25-22 for Los Angeles. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has stopped all 8 shots he has faced, 3 of them high-danger. Buffalo's goal came on the power play from Jack Quinn.
