Johansson Keeps Ottawa Within Reach in Vegas

Jonas Johansson has kept Ottawa in this game. Through 40:00 of game time played, with 20:00 left in the 3rd, he has stopped 18 of 19 shots, and Vegas has only a 1-0 lead to show for it. Ottawa trails 0-1.

The only puck to beat him was a power-play goal from Braeden Bowman late in the second. Bowman had also hit the crossbar early in the first. Vegas has had the better chances, and Johansson has saved 1.36 goals more than an average goalie would have against them. That is expected goals, meaning what the chances were worth.
