Kucherov Held Off the Sheet as Colorado Pulls Away
The Lightning fall 6-3 to the Avalanche, with their go-to forward kept off the scoresheet and stuck on a minus.
Nikita Kucherov went without a point in a 6-3 loss to the Avalanche, a quiet night for a forward who has 13 points in 10 games this season.
He played 20:43, third among Tampa Bay forwards and third among the team's 18 skaters, over 24 shifts. He finished minus one with two shots on goal, both on the power play, where he also had four shot attempts. At even strength he put up two shot attempts and no shots on goal.
He also blocked one shot and gave the puck away three times, with no takeaways, no hits and no penalty minutes.
His ice time sat close to his season average of 21.3 minutes a night, so this was a normal workload with no output. The Lightning came in 7-2-0 and 5-0-0 at home.
