Carlson’s Shooting Night Decides Tight Home Win
Defenseman turns heavy blue-line bombardment into timely goals and steady driving presence for Tampa
By MA Insights
John Carlson turned a barrage from the point into the deciding moments: he fired 14 shots and finished with two goals and two assists, his work on the blue line creating and finishing chances that tilted the game. His chances were worth a healthy amount of expected goals, backing that finish as earned rather than lucky. Tampa can count on its back end to add secondary scoring when the forwards aren’t finding the net.
