Celebrini’s Playmaking in Overtime Win at Home
Center’s multi-situation assists and team-high ice time lift San Jose past Florida
Macklin Celebrini set the tone as a playmaker in San Jose’s 4-3 overtime win. He finished with three assists and a plus-one.
He logged 22:57 of ice time — the team high among skaters — and skated 25 shifts, leading the Sharks’ forwards group in minutes. Celebrini’s production was split across situations: he had one assist at even strength, one on the penalty kill, and one on the power play. He also fired seven shots on goal, recovered one takeaway, and had one blocked shot, with one giveaway and no penalty minutes.
It was an active offensive night from Celebrini: three helpers and involvement on special teams combined with the most ice time on his team to help push the Sharks to the overtime victory.
