LINUS ULLMARK

Ullmark Keeps Senators Level in Toronto

Sharp saves erase Toronto’s edge early; Ottawa refuses to fall behind despite Leafs’ control in the opening half.

Linus Ullmark is the reason Ottawa isn’t behind — he’s made 13 saves on 14 shots, including 8 high-danger saves, while Toronto has poured in 30 shot attempts to Ottawa’s 17 and struck the iron three times. Score remains tied 1-1 with 5:55 played in the 2nd. That goaltending has kept the Senators alive despite Toronto’s heavy edge.
