Celebrini Cashes a Power-Play Goal in a Lost Night at LA
The Sharks forward led his team in ice time and fired away, but the Kings pulled clear for a 7-2 win in Los Angeles.
Macklin Celebrini scored on the power play and fired five shots on goal, but it was a losing night in Los Angeles: the Sharks fell 7-2 to the Kings.
His 22:40 of ice time was a team-high among San Jose's 18 skaters and the most of any forward. The goal came in the second period, at 5:07, with the man advantage. All of his production came there: one goal and three shots on goal on the power play, against two shots and no points at even strength.
He also had three hits and a blocked shot, finished minus one and took four penalty minutes.
For the season he has 6 goals and 11 assists in 15 games, so a one-point night fits his pace. His 22.7 minutes per game average is right in line with this one. The Sharks are 7-8-1 and have now lost two straight.
