Saros Turns Bell Centre Into a Brick Wall

Juuse Saros kept the Predators alive in a game they didn’t control. He stopped 120 of 131 shots and posted a 0.920 save percentage. His net result translated to 4.11 goals saved above expected, which in plain terms means he prevented just over four goals more than an average goalie would have given the chances he faced. Montreal’s quality chances added up, but Saros bailed Nashville out with timely saves that swung the game in Nashville’s favor.
