Björck a Quiet Presence in Winnipeg’s Overtime Loss

Viggo Björck skated 14:45 and registered no points in Winnipeg's 4-3 overtime loss. Listed as a center, he logged 18 shifts and finished 12th among team skaters for ice time and seventh of 12 forwards in his position group. His box score was tidy but unspectacular: two shots on goal, one takeaway and no giveaways. At even strength he had one shot on goal and two shot attempts; on the power play he added one shot on goal and one attempt. The line was quiet offensively — no goals or assists — but he avoided miscues while getting a moderate share of shifts in the Jets' home opener.
